I'm a professor of political science at Utah State University. I'm also editor of the Studies in Law and Politics book series for Temple University Press, and a member of the advisory council for Publius: The Journal of Federalism, where I previously served as co-editor of the Annual Review of American Federalism. I received a Ph.D. in political science from Florida State University, and a J.D. from the Florida State University College of Law, where I was an associate editor of the Florida State University Law Review.
